The actual treatment is very quick, around 15-20 mins. The skin is cleansed prior to the treatment and a LED phototherapy treatment is performed to increase the blood circulation and stimulate the collagen production, then prescription-only growth factor is infused during the skin needling according to your skin concerns. Skin Needling Device Treatment is the most comfortable, skin needling available. Most people do not require topical anaesthetic, but can be applied if required.
Most people will experience redness, however with the prescription-only growth factor infusion, downtime is reduced by 50% and the healing process is sped up.
Like many skin treatments, Skin Needling is best done as a course of 3 – 6 treatments. Treatments are usually completed 3-4 weeks apart. It is best to have a skin consultation with one of our Dermal Therapists to discuss your own individual treatment plan.
