Procedure
The bio-remodelling injections are administered using a very fine needle. A numbing cream is normally not required but can be used for increased comfort. The treatment itself takes between 15 mins and 30 minutes.
Results
Patients often report that they can feel a difference in their skin within days following the procedure, however, results are generally visible 3-4 weeks after treatment but as they stimulate your body’s own collagen and elastin, results continue to improve over time. It should be noted that no results are expected to be seen until 2-4 weeks after the 2nd treatment.

Every individual is different, and what other treatments the patient is doing, will impact results. Many people after their initial 2 treatments, do 1 treatment every 4-6 months in order to maintain results.
Skin bio-remodelling injections are typically viewed as a fairly comfortable procedure, with most patients reporting only mild discomfort, similar to the sting associated with anti-wrinkle treatments. They usually do not require any pain relief, however, topical numbing can be applied if required.
There is no specific aftercare treatment required with Bio-Remodeling injections, but you can take some additional steps to ensure better results. You can avoid touching the area for at least 4 hours. You should also avoid strenuous exercise for at least 12 hours. As alcohol can increase the chance of bruising and swelling, we recommend that you avoid consuming any for at least 24 hours following treatment.
Similar to dermal fillers, possible side effects include bruising, swelling and tenderness around the treatment area but this is completely normal. Serious side effects are very rare but your Registered Cosmetic Nurse will explain everything to you at your initial consultation.
Yes, bio-remodelling injections can be combined with other treatments. They’re often combined with other types of cosmetic injectables, like anti-wrinkle injections, every 4-6 months.
