At your initial consultation, one of our experienced Registered Cosmetic Nurses will carry out a full facial assessment to create a treatment plan best suited for you. Procedure
The procedure typically takes between 30 to 60 minutes but this will vary depending on the size of your treatment area. After a local anaesthetic and ice is applied to the area the threads are inserted into the skin in a mesh-like pattern, producing a tightening effect.
Results
You will begin to see results in 6 weeks which will continue to improve over the next 2 to 6 months as new collagen is produced. Although the Matrix PDO threads will slowly dissolve, you’ll continue to see results for up to 12 months.

Yes, a PDO thread lift is very safe. Due to the fact that the treatment is minimally invasive, there is very little risk of scarring, bruising, bleeding or any other complications. There will likely be some degree of swelling, bruising and mild discomfort after treatment but this is completely normal.

Pain is obviously subjective, however, most of our clients would consider it to be of minimal discomfort. Local anaesthetic cream and ice are used prior to treatment.

Yes, the effects of a thread lift can be reversed with other forms of treatment, however, a thread lift reversal is not recommended.
Due to the minimal downtime required, most patients are able to resume the majority of their daily activities immediately after treatment. However, we do recommend waiting at least a week before you undertake any strenuous physical activity or exercise.
